According to the Oxford Advanced American Dictionary, determination is defined as a quality that makes you continue trying to do something even when this is difficult. Determination is a positive emotional feeling that involves persevering towards a difficult goal despite obstacles. 2. Why do we need determination? 1 Corinthians 9: 24-27 (English Standard Version): “24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize?
